Dear ______,

I am writing to express my unwavering support for the Aultsville Theatre and emphasize its critical role in sustaining the arts and culture community here in Cornwall. As a regular patron of Aultsville Theatre and a dedicated supporter of the arts, I can attest that the continued funding of Aultsville Theatre is essential for the survival and prosperity of our local arts community.

The Aultsville Theatre serves as the primary venue for numerous local theatre groups, community events and fundraisers providing them with a professional and accessible space to showcase their productions.

Moreover, the Aultsville Theatre contributes significantly to our local economy by attracting visitors from near and far to attend performances and events. It helps to stimulate tourism, support local businesses, and create job opportunities in the hospitality and entertainment sectors.

In addition to local talent, Aultsville Theatre is also Cornwall’s premiere venue for professional tours bringing performances to our community. Without this venue, many shows would simply remove Cornwall from their tour, forcing local audiences to travel to other markets and limiting arts and culture experiences for families that may not have the means to travel.

In addition to its economic impact, the Aultsville Theatre plays a crucial role in promoting creativity, innovation, and community engagement. It provides space for educational programs, workshops, and outreach initiatives that inspire and empower individuals of all ages to explore their artistic talents and pursue their passions.

Losing funding for the Aultsville Theatre would devastate our community and deprive us of a valuable cultural asset. Therefore, I urge you to prioritize preserving the theatre’s funding and ensure it continues to thrive for generations.

Sincerely,
