Résumé du film:
Vincent, jovial chansonnier infortuné, est galvanisé en apprenant qu’il partira enfin en tournée avec son band. Puis le diagnostic tombe : cancer de la langue, stade 4! Des traitements éprouvants débutent et affectent son autonomie au point qu’il se voit contraint d’accepter les services de Renée, une conductrice bénévole verbomotrice aisément distraite, et Mike, un infirmier à domicile rigide surmené. Plus les traitements avancent, plus la bonhommie de Vincent fait place au désespoir malgré le soutien de Renée et Mike et ces nouvelles amitiés insolites.

We’re also thrilled to share that Jocelyn will be joining us in person for the screening, making this a special evening celebrating local film and storytelling.
Synopsis: Vincent, a jovial yet unfortunate singer-songwriter, is thrilled to learn that he will finally be going on tour with his band. Then the diagnosis comes: stage 4 tongue cancer. Grueling treatments begin and affect his independence to the point that he is forced to accept the help of Renée, a volunteer driver who is easily distracted and constantly talkative, and Mike, an overworked and rigid home-care nurse. As the treatments progress, Vincent’s good nature gradually gives way to despair, despite the support of Renée and Mike and these unusual new friendships.
