Featuring Eric Abramovitz, the principal clarinetist of the Toronto Symphony and the Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist and arranger, Drew Jurecka, virtuosic violinist/vocalist/composer, Rebekah Wolkstein founder/leader of the acclaimed Payadora Ensemble, Juno-nominated bassist, Michael Herring and Juno-award winning pianist, Jeremy Ledbetter.

What can sound better than one cello? Eight cellos! This instrument, the closest to the human voice, is one of the few which is enhanced when multiplied. When played together, the beauties of this instrument add up to a unique and exceptional sound. Belgian based Ô-Celli eagerly take us on a musical journey of music used in movies, ranging from Strauss to Bernstein.

TOM ALLEN – J.S. BACH’S LONG WALK IN THE SNOW

This coming-of-age odyssey follows the young genius Johann Sebastian Bach on a 400 km journey to a glittering port city with street fights, big business, insight, the father figure he didn’t know he needed and, quite possibly, love.  With harpist Lori Gemmell and a various cast of brilliant musical friends, Tom Allen takes us on JS Bach’s Long Walk in the Snow and brings that troubled young man in from the cold.

​BALLET JÖRGEN – A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Ballet Jörgen presents William Shakespeare’s classic comedy with a Canadian twist accompanied by Mendelssohn’s famous score. Ballet Jörgen’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is set in Canada’s mysterious North and will captivate audiences of all ages. The ballet is a tale of love, and often misguided magic, set in motion by the mischievous trickster Puck.
