Kickstarting the season on Sept 16th, we welcome the Payadora Tango Ensemble and Pointe Tango. Together, they present "Tango in the Dark," a fusion of Argentinian tango, folk music, and ballet that's sure to light up the night with love and passion. Their performance earned rave reviews from Words + Music Magazine for its potent mix of grace and precision.
Take a "JoyRide" on Oct 15th with Colin Maier and Charles Cozens, a jazz crossover duo known for their spontaneous and thrilling performances. From ragtime and blues to tango, gypsy, and klezmer, you're in for an exhilarating ride!
Nov 5th brings Shane Cook and the Woodchippers, whose repertoire spans Celtic, folk, roots, bluegrass, and swing. Nominated for Instrumental Group and Traditional Album of the Year at the 2022 Canadian Folk Music Awards, this talented four-piece ensemble promises a high-energy performance.
After the winter break, we return on Apr 13th with Zodiac Trio. Acclaimed for their "breathtaking ensemble of virtuosity and sensitivity" by Radio France, the trio takes the audience on a journey through the Americas, featuring George Gershwin, Astor Piazzolla, Arturo Márquez, and William Bolcom, along with a Benny Goodman tribute!
Finally, on May 4th, the season will conclude with the "Hymn of the Highlands" presented by the three-time North American Brass Band Champions, the Weston Silver Band. Now in their 100th season, this 33-piece brass and percussion ensemble promises to transport you to the Scottish highlands.
